Harold Bernard Fleming was born on February 2, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida to Joseph "Hawk" Washington, Fleming and Helen Williams Watson. Raised on the Eastside of town, Harold graduated from Matthew William Gilbert, Class of 1959. He served 8 years in the United States Air Force. After serving in the United States Air Force, he attend Edward Waters College. Harold worked 43 years for Barnette Copper and Brass known now as Home Depot. Harold was a devoted and loving husband, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. Harold was better known as “Uncle Harold”.

On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, Harold answered God's call and went home with the Lord.

Harold was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph "Hawk" Washington Fleming and Helen Williams Watson and brothers, Gerald Fleming, Godfrey Williams, Vaughn Williams, Rickie William, Ronald Williams, and Amos Jefferson.

Harold leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife of 35 years, Sharon Buena Hall Fleming; one daughter, Jerrie (Nita) Gunder (JohnIII); two granddaughters, Jasmine and Janelle Gunder; siblings, Jacquelyn Bridges, Terence Williams (Gwen), Virgil Fleming, Debra Cheesborough Bellamy, and Anthony Williams, Sr. (Karen); brothers-in-law, Osborne Hall (Cora), Michael Hall, and Tony Hall; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Williams, Cynthia Hall, Vanessa Hampton Hall (Theodore), and Johannah Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends, and Ashley co-workers.

The funeral service for Harold Bernard Fleming will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 at the Word of Truth Worship Center 3012 W. 12th Street. The visitation will be 5 - 7 PM, Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at the mortuary. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
