Mrs. Helen Garrett was born July 27, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Theodore Anderson and the late Sally Johnson Fields. She attended the Public Schools in Duval County and earned her GED. Helen joined Jehovah’s Witness Organization and worked diligently until she departed this life awaiting the resurrection.

Helen departed this life on Thursday, October 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Lil Miss London Hall; and sisters, Margaret Baker and Lena Simmons.

Helen leaves to mourn her demise four sons and two daughters, Gwendolyn Lowery, Glen Wilson (Geraldine), Ricky Wilson (Melissa), Darrell Wilson, Deborah Hall (Terry), and Bobby Wilson (Haley); ten grandchildren, Betty Lowery, Dominique Banks, Xaveon Wilson (YaChika), Sergio Hall (Arielle), Niquisheila Smith (Lyndell), Taurus Wilson, Bobby Wilson Jr., DeJanice Wilson, RaShaun Wilson, and Nausha Harris; seven great-grandchildren, Tauzianna Colson, Jace Wilson, Klhoe Wilson, Noah Wilson, MacKenzie Hall, Tyler Wilson, Jadyn Williams; two loving and devoted sisters, Theodoshia Gasden and Gloria Scantling; a devoted sister, Sister Coretha Leroy; a dedicated granddaughter, Stacey Dunlap (Jeffrey); the Anderson family; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
