Inez  Bean
Inez H. Bean was born July 13thBessie Hogan. She went home to be with the Lord on December 21st extended illness., 1933, in Monticello, FL to the late Rueben and , 2013 after an She received Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was educated in the Jefferson County School system where she received her high school diploma from Howard Academy in 1952. She later moved to Jacksonville FL where she was married to her husband, Arnie Bean, for fifty-two years.

She worked for various employers within the Jacksonville area after which she continued her education. In 1982 she received an Associate of Arts Degree from
Florida Junior College of Jacksonville. Inez was an educator teaching children in the Headstart Program in Jacksonville and Hastings, FL. She, along with her husband, served the Jacksonville community as school bus contractors twenty- five years. She later retired and after the passing of her husband she then resided with her devoted sister, Ruby McNeal, for nearly eight years. Inez worshipped with the Spring Hill Baptist Missionary Church where she served the Lord under the leadership of pastor Michael Jackson.

To cherish her memories, Inez leaves:

Three sons – Timothy (Maxine) Bean, Keith Bean, and Reginald Bean; children Wanda and Ivan Bean who preceded her in death; a step-son Lester H. Bean; eight
grandchildren: Timothy Bean II (deceased), Angelina Bean (Jason), Tony Bean, Calla Oftedahl, Devin Hemmerich, Rachel Hemmerich, Katrina Mogren, Natiya Bean; four great grandchildren; two sisters: Ruby McNeal and Ella (Cicero) Williams; two brothers: Rueben (Joanne) and Samuel (Effie) Hogan, both brothers preceded her in death; two devoted nieces: Cheryl Bryant and Racile Lester; a devoted friend: Shirley Pollard; a host of many other family and friends.

A special thank you from the Bean family to St. Vincent’s Hospital and to the Jacksonville Kidney Center; and to all for your acts of kindness, support and prayers.

The funeral service for Inez Bean will be held 10AM, Saturday at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church 11046 Harts Road.
