Jacquelyn Patricia Cummings was born on February 8, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Edward Fletcher Coley, Sr. and Sarah Lee Coley. She attended the local schools in Duval County. On her 50th birthday, she married her soul mate, Isaiah Cummings.
Jacquelyn departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Moses Edwards, Sr., Jerome Edwards, Edward Coley, Jr., Robert Coley and Anthony Coley.
Jacquelyn leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Isaiah Cummings; daughter, Suzette Smith (Romie); step daughters, Diane Sims and Katrina Smith; grandchildren, Corey Stuckey (Jamie), Romie Smith, III (Tara), RaShawnda Smith, Tatanisha Jones, Nichole Cummings, Raymond Sykes, and Shakera Sims; great-grandchildren, Samiya Smith, Tatayana Jenkins, Taylor Jenkins, Damien Young, Evan Young, Alex Trudell, Adrian Jones, and Mishael Jones; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia Holmes, Ivory Keller, Helen Dunbar, Dr. Sophia Coley, Jack Cummings, Northern Cummings, Earl Cummings, Columbus Cummings; nieces and nephews, Deborah Davis (Lawrence), Romney Ingram (Sheila), Donald Robinson (Karen), Apollo Henderson, Adrian Henderson (Courtney), and Kiana Curtis (Vincent); a host of great niece and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service for Jacquelyn Patricia Cummings will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street JACKSONVILLE, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm , Friday, April 8th, 2016 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries.
