Jamario (Jay) Tranard Barrett was born on August 2, 1989 in Jacksonville, Florida. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 6, where he attended Norton Park Elementary (Smryna, GA), Herschel Jones Middle School (Dallas, GA), and John McEachern High School (Powder Springs, GA). During Jamario’s junior year of high school, he moved back to Jacksonville, Florida, where he attended Andrew Jackson High School, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2008.

Jamario departed this life on Friday, December 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry L. Barrett; grandmother, Roberta S. Jackson; uncle, Calvin Baskin.

Jamario leaves to cherish loving memories with his mother, Theresa E. Jackson; stepfather, Micheal E. Harmon Sr.; sister, Kiandra C. Barrett; stepsisters, Lillian Harmon, Melissa Aguilar (Richard Aguilar); stepbrothers, Michael Harmon Jr. (Sherronda Harmon) and Gerald Harmon; aunts, Barbara Clay, Joan Jackson, Liz Woods and Angela Baskin; uncles, Hazel Jackson and Earl T. Jackson (Bertha Jackson); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
