Obituary for JAMES SIKES Jr.
James Sikes Jr. was born on August 31, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida to James Sikes Sr. and Clorette Stephens Brown. James spent his childhood years in Miami Dade, Florida where he attended the public schools. He loved cooking, fishing, and spending time with his nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. James accepted Christ in his life at an early age; he attended New St. James Missionary Baptist Church as a child and young adult growing up in Miami Dade. James was a member of New St. James Missionary Baptist Church at the time of his passing. James loved watching television and drinking his "bruskie''.
James was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Theodore Jackson, Gwendolyn Jones, Carrie Sikes; one brother, Gerald Sikes.
James leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and faithful wife, Iomia Sikes; one stepdaughter, Jackie Martin; one stepson, Arthur Martin; two sisters, Ann Sikes and Juanita Sikes; nephew, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces; and a host of cousins and friends.
