Janet was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, friend, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was born to the late Roscoe and Altamease Denefield. She leaves to cherish her Life, her children, Miriam, Michael, Felicia (Lisa), Renard, Earnest Jr., Amy; grandchildren, Nicovia, Chris, Breon, Savon, Alexis, Ryan, Nevaeh; seven great grandchildren; one niece, Andrea (Benard); nephews, Raymond (Ginnette), Gerald, Allen Roberts; two grand nieces; eleven grand nephews; uncles, Bishop Eddie Lawrence (Elease), Erno Denefield (Gail); special friends, Bernice Brown and Laura Mae Thomas; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother the late Aretha Roberts and one niece the late Minister Thelmesia A. Franklin (July 07,2009).
