Obituary for Johnnie Willie "Junior" Brown

Johnnie Willie "Junior"  Brown
Johnnie Willie Brown Jr. better known as (Junior and JB): Born February 16, 1933 to the late Johnnie Willie Brown Sr. and Mary L. Thomas Brown. He is the second child of thirteen children and the first of eight sons born from their union in Yukon, Florida. He was preceded in death by three sisters Geneva Brown Turner, Lydia R. Brown Norris, and Eddie Lee Brown-Wilson; one brother Allen C. Brown Sr. and a daughter, Katrina Ann Taylor.
Johnnie received his education in the local schools of Duval County, graduating from Stanton High School in 1952. After high school, he entered the United States Army, where he served his country honorably and faithfully from 1953 to 1961, attaining the rank of corporal. After being honorably discharged from the military, he worked for Master Maintenance for 30 years.
Johnnie Willie Brown Jr. leaves to cherish his memories two daughters: Christy Caston (Marcus) and Stacy Wilson (Samuel Jr.); eight siblings: Isaiah W. Brown Sr., Donald U. Brown (Terri), Ivan F. Brown Sr. (Diane), Freddie L. Brown (Wilma), Sylvia Brown Mathis, Doris Brown Banks, Kenneth I. Brown (Deborah), Darryl A. Brown (Barbara); six grandchildren: Takyra Bell, Jaren Wilson, Tylia Caston, Tamya Caston, Jahrie Wilson, Jevan Wilson; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and loving friends.The funeral service for Johnnie Willie Brown will be held 11AM, Friday at the Monument House of Prayer 3613 Turton Avenue.
