Joyce Ann Bermell Tutson was born on July 20, 1949 to the late Richard Tutson and Wilhemina Miller in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a proud citizen of Duval County and was educated within the Duval County School System. Joyce had a love for baking, cooking, and her family. She was a dedicated worker for Hilton Hotels at the Homewood Suites Jacksonville Baymeadows and worked for 17 years.

Joyce departed this life on Saturday, February 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her great nephew, Jabari Baker; 5 sisters, Sylvia Tookes, Clementine Tutson, Rosa Belle Morris, Juanita Tutson, and Evelyn Gregory.

Joyce leaves to cherish fond memories: her son, Eric Moore, Sr.; two sisters, Louise Baker and Mary Williams; two brothers, James Brown (Leola) of Jamacia Queens, NY and Richard Tutson, Jr. (Minnie) of Santa Monica, CA; three granddaughters, Brittani Chambers, Alisha May, and Alexis Moore; two grandsons, Eric Moore, Jr. and Eric “Tre” Moore III; great-granddaughter, DaMiya Wooden; four great-grandsons, Justin Campbell, Geremy Harris, Benjamin Gilbert, and Marquice Chambers, Jr.; two nieces, Perschelle Tutson and Shanika Baker; three nephews, Johnnie Baker, George Brown, Sr., and Eddie Tookes (Laura); five great-nieces, Porschee’ Tutson, Mersades Harris, Jasmine Baker, Shekinah Baker, and Kierston Baker; four great-nephews, Jahari Baker, Shanen Baker, Achilles Hill, and Johnnie Baker, Jr.; godson, Michael Brown, Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many sorrowful friends.

The funeral service for Joyce Ann Tutson will be held 1PM, Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street JACKSONVILLE, FL 32206. Interment is Private.
