Obituary for Komma Irene Tyler

Komma Irene  Tyler
Komma Irene Tyler was born on February 4, 1961 to Thelma Evans and the late Andrew L. Tyler Sr. She attended Northwestern Middle School and Jean Ribault High School and matriculated to Florida State University.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, Bishops Rudolph W. McKissick Sr and Rudolph W. McKissick Jr. After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, she joined Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Eric Wendel Lee Sr.
She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service for twenty-five years and remained a faithful and loyal employee until she was called home on October 13, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew L. Tyler Sr and her grandmother Irene Strickland.
She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Thelma Evans (Harry) of Jacksonville, FL. Brothers, Andrew L. Tyler Jr. (Berand) of Pooler, GA, Christopher, Riley, Carson, and Benjamin of Jacksonville, FL, Said Salaam (Lea) and John Evans (Tina) both of Atlanta,GA. Sisters: Myrtis, Opal, Harriett Evans, Pamela Parkinson, Mary Griffin, and Ida Vance of Jacksonville, FL. Lametria Pelham of Lake City, FL. God-Children: Aisha Evans, Darrin Collier, and Brittany Gantt. God-sister: Mrs. Roberta Manuel. A host of nices and nephews, including Andrew L. III, Adam, and Andre's Tyler and Hakeem Myers. Several Cousins including Dr. Earl Taylor of Stockton, CA, Lydia Waring (David) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and many loving co-workers and friends including Mrs. Carol Quiller (Tim), Mrs. Regina Williams, and Mrs. Wynetta McCrary.
