Obituary for Leander Jones
Leander Lee Jones was born of J.B. Jones and Sandra K. Johnson (Bush) in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Mach 20, 1976.
Leander was preceded in death by his nephew, Azariah Perkins; grandmother, Mozella Johnson; grandfather, Johnny Jones; aunts, Barbara Mitchell, Johnnie Mae Jones, Jackie Johnson, Bettie Jones, and cousin Zack Williams.
Leander was a graduate of the Phoenix III High School, Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended church and he enjoyed the worship fellowship at St. Simon Baptist Church, although he never joined. Lee spent seventeen years as an employee of Shaw Industries in Dalton, Ga.
Lee’s closest friends called him “Big Man” as he was passionate about always showing everyone love and riding motorcycles. He was a gentle giant; a man with a big heart, and he touched many lives.
Leander leaves to cherish his loving memory: his mother, Sandra Bush of Jacksonville, Florida; father, J.B. Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Lynetta Jones (Antonio Perkins); two nieces, Desirai Carr, and Heavyn Perkins of Jacksonville, Florida; god-daughter, Quinecia Moore of Chattanooga, Tennessee; best-friend, Terrance Jones of Chattanooga, Tennessee; bestie, Shon Willis of Jacksonville, Florida; grandmother, Effie Jones; uncle, Lee (Veronica) Jones; aunts, Charlotte Coleman, Joann Johnson, Willie Mae Jones, Joyce Ann Johnson, and Mattie Greene all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; aunt Vivian Sanders of Augusta, Georgia; god-sisters, Sherrilyn and Shanerra Moore; brother, Fred Jones; extraordinary brothers and sisters of the Street Fury MC plus an endless number of other relatives, cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends.
