Obituary for Lee Ernest Scott
Deacon Lee Ernest Scott was born on October 19, 1938 to Henry Scott and Bessie Scott in Newington, Georgia. He attended school in Screven County. Lee was a faithful member of Power of Faith Church until his heath failed. He departed this life on Thursday, March 17, 2016
Lee leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Viola J. Scott; seven children, Lisa Scott (Bianca), Gwendolyn Scott, Leroy Scott (Barbra), Randolph Scott (Wanda), Bernard Scott (Sabrina), Richard Jordan (Pamela), Jacque Jordan, and Delma Griffin (Roy); five sisters, Viola Scott, Sara Jackson (Eric), Elese Reed, Bessie Black (Willis), and Nellie Pierce (Dock); four special granddaughters that helped take care of him, Charisse Jordan, Tiffney Jordan, Ashley Jordan, and Vista Scott Jackson; a very very special uncle, Robert Jordan; aunt, Angie Jordan; three sisters-in-law, Charlotte Jordan, Mattie Jordan, and Gloria Miller; thirty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
The funeral service for Lee Ernest Scott will be held 11AM, Saturday, March 26th, 2016 at the Power of Faith Church 3910 Atlantic Blvd. The visitation will be 5 8PM , Friday, at the mortuary.
