Sis. Leoria Sampson, 93 years old of Callahan, Florida was called home to glory on June 18, 2010.
She was born on September 1, 1916 to the late Robert and Beulah Melton in Lessie (Nassau) Florida. She attended the neighborhood school. She received Christ at an early age and joined the Church of God By Faith of Callahan.
She married the late Alfonso Sampson. Sis. Sampson enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening and caring for her family. She kept to herself until her health begin to fail her.
A son, Alfonso Sampson, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters Norma J. Lott, Queen Johnson, Catherine Grimmage, two sons Joseph Sampson, James (Tasha) Sampson, a loving and devoted sister Eliza Lemay, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, special friends Patricia Jones, and Norma Beacher, a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
