Lillie Mae  Harold
Lillie Mae Goff Harold, the youngest of six children blessed to the union of the late Jordan Goff and the late Alberta White Goff. She was a native of Jacksonville, Florida, raised on the Eastside and attended the local public schools. She was married to the late Damon Harold for 63 blissful years.

Lillie was known to family, friends and acquaintances as a friendly, warm hearted, yet candid person. She was compassionate and her caring nature would always shine through, revealing her charm, warmth and conscientious demeanor. She was generous and supportive to her family, relatives and members of her community. She was a mixture of toughness and softness, her first loyalty was to her spouse and her family.

Her life work was primarily working in a domestic capacity for a family for three generations. Sister Harold attended churches when she was young but gave her life to the Lord in the prime of her life and served in the choir and other help ministries.

Preceding Lillie in death is her husband, Damon Harold; granddaughter, Felisha Brown; two brothers, John Goff, Sr. and Jessie Goff; three sisters, Bertha Lee Goff, Ebbie G Miller, and Elnora Amos.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving daughter, Evelyn R. Dunson and son-in-law, George Dunson; 2 grandsons, David Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Ein Banks of Evansville, Indiana; 5 great grandchildren; Allija, Lakeland, Trinity, Layla, and Jason Banks; a devoted niece, Jeanette Townsend; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Lillie Mae Harold will be held 11AM, Wednesday at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 810 W. 44th Street. The visitation will be one hour before the service.
