Mrs. Lucille B. Robinson, was born on August 15, 1924 to the late Ms. Bertha Burton of Lewisville, Georgia. She received her education in the Jefferson County school system. Mrs. Robinson was also a retiree of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville Florida. Mrs. Robinson was a member of New Berlin A.M.E Church under the leadership of Pastor Roger Burton.

Mrs. Robinson passed away peacefully to her eternal resting place on May 11, 2015, after declining of her health. She was surrounded by her loving family during her last days.

Mrs. Robinson was the wife of the late James Robinson and mother to one daughter, the late Julia Mae Jackson. Mrs. Robinson was also preceded in death by her siblings: Patty Burton, Julia M Perry, Edgar Burton, Hattie M Cuyler, Harrison Robinson, Thomas Burton, Prince Gibbons, Sarah Gibbons, Doretha Robinson-Huntley, and Bessie Brooks.

Mrs. Robinson leaves to cherish her memories three grandsons: David Burton, Darniphe (Frankie) Burton, and Robert (Latasha) Jackson; ten great-grandchildren; a host of great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.


The funeral service for Lucille B. Robinson will be held 1 PM, TODAY at the New Bethel AME Church, New Berlin 9864 New Berlin Rd.
