Evangelist Mamie Lee Gibbons, was born in Louisville, Georgia on March 26, 1940 to the late Ramsey and Susie Atkins Gibbons. Mamie was the first child along with her twin brother, Joe Lewis Gibbons. Several years later the family moved to Jacksonville, Florida and Mamie attended the Duval County Schools, graduating from Northwestern High School. Mamie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into her life as a young girl and later became an Evangelist and also was the Pastor of Gospel Fellowship in the 1980’s.

Mamie was a member of Apostolic Church of God in Christ, she was truly a warrior in God’s army. She was a very strong and determined woman of God, she never was moved by what she saw, she believed to the end and kept the faith.

Mamie departed this life on Thursday, August 13, 2015 and she was preceded in death by her parents, Ramsey and Susie Atkins Gibbons; brothers, Joe Lewis Gibbons and Samuel W. Gibbons.

Mamie leave to cherish her memories her brothers, Ramsey (Sharon) Gibbons, Eddie (Dawn) Gibbons, Allen L. Gibbons, Jacob (Michelle) Gibbons, Ray J. (Sherry) Gibbons, Isaiah J. Gibbons; sisters, Mary L. Gibbons, Rachel Harper, Easter Adams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
