Margaret V  Hartley
Margaret V. Hartley was born on June 20, 1931 to Giles Hartley and Andrew Mae Hartley. She attended the Public Schools of Mandarin, and worked as a housekeeper for many years. Margaret had a love for baking.

Margaret was a faithful servant for over 60 years at First Baptist of Mandarin and continued her service after the name changed to First Church of Hopewell. Margaret served the majority of her life in the church as an usher and in the finance office until her heath failed.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; five brother, and two sisters. On November 29, 2015, Margaret received a call that she immediately answered. The call that we all will one day receive. The call from the almighty Father to take her rest.

Margaret leaves to mourn her passing a son, Cleveland (B.B.) Hartley; her loving sister, Louise Hartley; brothers, Herbert Hartley, and Cleveland Hartley; grandsons, Marquis Hartley, and Ivan; great-grandson, Marquis Hartley, Jr.; special nieces, Nikita Cash (Chris) , Andrelyn Simon (Tony), Shiwon Hartley, Della Tatum (Charles), and Gaylanell Haywood; special nephews, Johnnie Hartley, Eric Robinson, and Ervin Robinson, III; favorite nieces, Carolyn Murphy (Antonio), and Rosabell Hartley; favorite cousin, Presiding Elder Rev. Eugene E. Mosley, Jr.; loving niece and goddaughter, Rosalind Morgan; other nieces, nephews; and cousins to many to name.
