Mrs. Marie Atkins of Jacksonville, FL was born August 9, 1917 in Orangeburg, SC. She departed this life on January 25, 2012 at the age of 94. Sister Atkins was a devoted and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Oakland, 1025 Jessie St., where her Home Going Service will be held 12PM WEDNESDAY. Life Story for Marie Atkins (Randolph)

Mrs. Marie R Atkins passed away peacefully at home, on the morning of January 25, 2012 at the age of 94.

She was born August 9, 1917 in Orangeburg, SC; the youngest of four daughters born to the late Samuel and Effie Randolph.

Mrs. Atkins moved to Jacksonville, FL over 75 years ago, where she was educated. In August 1955 she united in holy matrimony to Wilfred Atkins until his death. She was employed with May Cohen’s and retired after 30 years of service.
Sister Atkins was a devoted and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Oakland.

She leaves to cherish her life’s memories: Three generations of Nieces and Nephews; Leroy Jones, Delores Randolph, Michelle Randolph (Jerry), Robert Randolph, Lyn Jones, Andre Randolph, Ron Jones, Narada Randolph, Keisha Conway, Mya Randolph; Keishawn; Step Granddaughter; Kim Atkins, and a host of dedicated friends and family members.
