Mary Julia Jackson, was born on November 14, 1934, in Dooly County, Georgia, to the late Mattie Pearl McIntee and Navy Jackson. Mary lived a beautiful life of 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie Pearl and Navy Jackson. Mary will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Carolyn Ann Walker (Samuel); two grandsons, Gentry Y. Jackson (Sarah) and Derrick Shell; eight great-grandchildren, Gyntrelle Jackson, Kiara Schmitts, Trey Schmitts, Coby Jackson, Kahari Jackson, Derrick and David Shell; three aunts, Ethel Station, Mary Archibald and Thelma Harper; two uncles, Essex James Coffen and Robert Coffen; a host of cousins, one who was like a sister, Vera Howard and many friends. A very special friend, Mrs. Dannette McQueen.

The funeral service for Mary Julia Jackson will be held 11:00am January 17th at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street.
