Condolence: My thoughts are with this family during your time of grief. Sometimes reminders from the scriptures can help you focus on the bright future God has arranged for Ms. Mattie in paradise. Jesus taught his followers to pray that God's will be done. (Matthew 6:9-10). Psalm 37:29 assures us that God's will for the earth has not changed. He still wants perfect humans to live forever on a paradise earth. Ms. Mattie's future prospect is to be a citizen of God's Kingdom when endless peace and happiness will be enjoyed by all. (Luke 23:43; Revelation 21:5)

Condolence: My deepest sympathies for the loss of Mattie. The pain of losing a dearly loved one, your mother, seems unbearable. My help to deal with that loss came from God's word. Such passages as John 3:16, 6:40, 11:25 helped me endure. Knowing I will see her again, when "all things are made new", Rev.21:3-5 removed the sting of death for me. I pray God's love and mercy be with you as you deal with the loss of Mattie, and these verses be of comfort to each of you.
