Obituary for Michael Jennings
Michael Jennings, was born on October 21, 1960 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Wilmon T. Jennings, Sr. and Martha Jennings. He attended Ribault Senior High School and after leaving high school, Mr. Jennings worked a number of jobs, such as; a puckwood worker and a DJ, just to name a few.
Michael Jennings, met and married Sandra Jennings, his lifelong partner at the age of 28, they spent 26 years of their marriage traveling and discovering not only the world, but each other. In 2008 his health begin to fail, but his spirit never did. God called Michael home, on February 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmon T. and Martha Jennings; Ivory Jennings, Sharon Jennings, DaJuana Lewis, and Dalon Hill.
Michael, leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Sandra Jennings; stepchildren, Wilbert R. Hill, Jr., Yolanda Hill, Telishia Parker; two sisters, Pat Washington and Mary Williams; brothers, Wilmon T. Jennings, Jr. (Pat), Roger Jennings (Janett); a host of grandchildren; one great-grandchild, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Michael Jennings will be held 1PM, Saturday at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday at the mortuary.
