Obituary for Michael Parrish
Michael Leroy Parrish affectionately known as “Mikey” was born on July 10, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Johnny Parrish and Willie Y. Haywood. He attended the public schools of Duval County and went on to receive an honorable discharge from the Army National Guard.
Michael departed this life on Sunday, January 31, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents; Johnny Parrish and Willie Haywood; stepfather, Walter Haywood; sister, Doris Parrish-Wright; brothers, Anthony Grant Haywood and Emmanuel “Rollie” Haywood.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory, loving sisters, Diane Langlois and Gale Haywood (Frank); brother, Jimmie Parrish; a host of sorrowing aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
