Naomi  James
Naomi James passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014. Ms. James was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL. 

She attended the local schools graduating from New Stanton Sr. High and obtaining a BS Degree in Sociology from Edward Waters College. 
Naomi worked for the State of Florida retiring after 22 years of service.
She was predeceased by her parents Helen Snellings and Cecil James.

She is survived by a loving and caring daughter, Towanna James of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Alphonso (Anna) James of Harker Heights, Texas; three sisters,
Linda Holmes, Myra Plazz and Jacqueline Crutchfield of Douglasville, GA.; six grandchildren, Jarrett, Xavier and Tatyana Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona, Brandyn
Blissitt, Paityn and Nyna Williams; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Naomi James will be held 11AM, Saturday at the St. Paul A. M. E. Church 6910 New Kings Road, Rev. Marvin C. Zanders, Pastor; Rev. Leslie Washington, officiating.
