Obituary for Patricia Ann Deshazo Lewis

Patricia Ann Deshazo  Lewis
Ms. Patricia Ann Deshazo Lewis, also known as “Pat” was born June 23, 1959, to Roosevelt Deshazo, Sr., and Agnes Brown Deshazo. She was a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She attended New Stanton High School. Pat, was a Patient Care Technician, at University Hospital for 16 years. She was a Foster Parent for over twenty-two years, and cared for over thirty children. She was baptized at an early age at Greater Refuge Church.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jerold Lewis, Sr., brother, Roosevelt Deshazo, Jr., mother, Agnes Brown Deshazo; father, Roosevelt Deshazo, Sr.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving legacy, 3 devoted children, Jerold (Monica) Lewis, Felicia Lewis and Bryan Lewis; 3 siblings, Linda Brown, Jean (Kernaa) Williams and Bernard Deshazo; step daughter, Leleka Lewis; 2 loving grandchildren, Je’Kara Lewis and Isaiah Lee, Jr.; 2 brother-in-law’s, Zachary (Doris) Lewis and Kernaa (Jean) Williams, Fayetteville, Georgia; 5 nephews, Curry (Sharletha) Brown, Antwan Brown, Reginald Deshazo (Chicago), Elliott (Nikki) Davis, Derrick (Keshia) Waldon; 3 aunts, Ruby Harold, Washington DC, Jimmie Lee Glenn, Thomasville, Georgia and Maggie Benjamin, Roxboro, N.C.; 1 uncle, Sylvester (Phyllis) Deshazo, Baltimore, Maryland; 4 great nephews, Antwan Brown, Jr., Juwan Brown, Curry Brown, Jr., and Reginald J. Deshazo, Jr., 3 dear friends, Natalie Clark, Gladys Lee and Linda Harmon; 3 god sons, Eddie Black, Dwayne Jones and King Brill, and a host of cousins and many friends.

The funeral service for Patricia Ann Deshazo Lewis will be held 1PM, Saturday at the Samuel C. Rogers Memorial Chapel . The visitation will be 5 - 7PM at the mortuary. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
