Let your comfort lie in knowing that God hates death more than we do, and he has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:26) His word promises that he will reunite Robert with loved ones left behind. (John 5:28-29) You have the opportunity to welcome him back to life just as Mary and Martha welcomed Lazarus back to life. The difference is that Robert has the prospect of gaining everlasting life. (John 3:16)
