Romney Keith  Ingram Sr.
Mr. Romney Keith Ingram, Sr. affectionately known as “Tennie” was born on April 30, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida. He received his early education in the Duval County Public School System, graduating from Andrew Jackson, Class of 1972. Romney’s church affiliation was with First Baptist Church of Oakland, under the leadership of Pastor Christopher McKee, Jr. Romney was very active in his church working in any capacity needed. He had a great passion for helping those in need and a true servant for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Romney was employed by the State of Florida Department of Transportation for over 26 years, retiring in 2006.

Romney departed this life for a greater one on Monday, June 18, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Edwards; father, Louis Ingram; brothers, Michael Robinson and Tyrone Edwards; brother-in-law, Charles Quaintance, Jr. and mother-in-law, Lula Mae Sistrunk.

Romney leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Sheila Sistrunk Ingram; sons, Romney Keith Ingram, Jr. (Nakia), Ramsey KaRon Ingram and Chevin Jorod Ingram (Sade’); grandchildren, Keierra Ingram, Romney Keith Ingram III, Zuri Ingram and Ranisha Mayweather; sisters, Deborah Davis, Renee Edwards, Cheryl Ingram and Tressie Ingram; brothers, Attorney Donald Robinson (Karen), William Ingram and James Ingram; aunts, Bernice Adams (Honorable Judge Henry Lee, Jr.), Laverne Thomas and Delores Green; sister-in-laws, Sharon Sistrunk, Donna Sistrunk and Linda Sistrunk; brother-in-law, Ernest Sistrunk, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.

The funeral service for Romney Keith Ingram, Sr. will be held 11AM, Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at the First Baptist of Oakland 1025 Jessie Street. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday, at the mortuary. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Romney leaves to Cherish his Memories; his loving and devoted wife of 44 years Sheila S. Ingram; his sons, Romney Ingram Jr. (Nakia), Ramsey, Chevin Ingram and his Grandchildren. Romney's love remains in the hearts of a very loving family, Church family and friends.
