Always smiling. BJ started working for me at the end of January last year. In the last year I have gotten to know him pretty well. What I learned and knew is that as soon as you saw BJ he would be smiling, he would smile because he knew he was going to make you smile. BJ was excited about his future life with his daughter and building his future family. He loved Ashley, his mother, nephew, and his family with all his heart. BJ always talked about how he wanted to protect and take care of his family and children. His family is what drove him to excel in what he did. BJ wanted better for all people. Whenever a challenge was presented BJ stayed positive and say “its going to be alright”. His mom told me that she taught him that. I wish he were still here. I know you all feel the same way. BJ was a great employee and great friend. One of BJs many skills was that he was a mig welder. Over the last year BJ played a key role in manufacturing over 1000 units of high quality steel shipping containers for the United States Department of Defense including the United States Army, Marine Corps and Navy. These containers are used to ship military gear all around the world in support of U.S. military efforts. BJ could do twice the work of the average welder. BJ is one you would want on your team if we a had a delivery or deadline to make. One minute I would walk by and he would be singing along with Alan Jackson, switch to hip hop, then to Christina Aguilera. He would probably tell all of us “its going to be alright.” He would want us to stay positive, work hard, help others, and do what’s right. I will miss him.
