The Bowdres and the Briggs

I am so saddened to learn of Kay Kay's passing, but celebrate her transition. Her original church was the old Hatcher St. Church of Christ in Dallas where my grandfather ministered. Her middle brother and I were the best of friends as children, along with my 1st cousin Harold Robinson. Kay Kay was the little sister who always liked to follow us. Her mother, Sister Briggs was always there to remind her that she was a little girl and couldn't play with us all the time. Great memories, but even greater ones of her as a Christian woman and mother. God bless the McClendon and Briggs families. You are always in my prayers.
