Obituary for Sheadrick Kenyetta "Skip" Hannah

Sheadrick Kenyetta "Skip" Hannah
A Quick Glance at the Life and Activities
as
“Skip Did It ‘His ‘ Way”

Sheadrick Kenyetta Hannah (Skip) was born May 12, 1976 to Dennis Charlie Hannah and Martha Yvonne Jackson, Hannah at Glynn Brunswick Hospital. He is preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents Mary Lee & Anthony Jackson and paternal grandparents Charlie & Graddie Mae Hannah.
Skip attended the Wheeler Street Church of God throughout his childhood and early youth. He was the younger half of the “Minnesota Wrecking Crew” because he and his older brother , Dennis ,were avid wrestling fans and full of energy. As Sister Constance Jones always said “He is not bad. He is just full of energy!”
Skip attended Saint Marys Elementary School, Independence Middle School and Camden County High Schools.
Unlike many other average children, God showered Skip with a talent for electronics which he exhibited at an early age. He demonstrated this talent by fixing everything that was or was not broken. He was quickly recognized as the person that could fix any electronic device and make it work even after the professionals said that it could not be fixed. From elementary school throughout high school, he fixed everything for everyone. Skip invented the first Walkman, VCR, television, radio, robot all-in-one unit that worked from a remote control unit that he designed and build himself! Skip was well ahead of his time.
With all of this knowledge floating around in his head, high school became boring for Skip so he dropped out and enrolled in the Earl C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, Kentucky where he earned certificates in the fields of Electrical, Plumbing and Culinary Arts.
Skip lived in Saint Marys for a little while after that and eventually moved to El Paso, Texas where he met the mother of his daughters Makaylah and Aja. He stayed in El Paso for a number of years. After a bit of wondering and soul searching, he returned to Saint Marys where he suffered a brief illness and went home to be with God. His bright light and beautiful spirit will be cherished and missed by his daughters Makaylah Yvonne Leanne Grimes and Aja Gelise Hannah, Houston Texas; his mother Martha Yvonne Hannah, Norfolk, Virginia and his brother, Dennis C. Hannah (LaChrisha) Sugarland, Texas.
Also saddened are aunts and Uncles: Pauline Mitchell, Kingsland, GA; Joanne Jackson, Miami, FL; Alice Faye Hilton (Bennie), Baton Rogue La; Betty Roberts (Gerald), St. Marys, GA; Cynthia Lattnay (John) and Shirley Overstreet (Willie) of Saint Marys, GA; Meredith Hannah, of Kingsland, GA; Wesley Massey, Apalachicola, FL; Ray Henry Raysor (Prudance), Fernandina Beach, FL; Josephine Livingstone; Sylvia Hunter (Franklin), Darien, Ga.
