Obituary for Tero Lywon "Luther James" Bostic
Tero Lywon Bostic was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 28, 1979 to the late Luther James Bostic, Jr. and Janice Walton Bostic. He was educated in the public schools of Duval County and Mitchell County, Georgia. Upon graduation, Tero attended Albany State University.
Tero was very compassionate and loved helping people. He lived life with happiness, for he had a smile that would light up a room. He loved his co-workers at the Omni Hotel and looked forward to going to work each day. Tero was a loving and proud son to his mother.
Tero departed this life on August 19, 2015, he was preceded in death by his father, Luther James Bostic, Jr.; fraternal grandparents, Luther James Bostic, Sr., Ionia Bostic, Hazel Logan, and Willie James Walton; aunt, Shirley Bostic, Mattie Roth Mathis; uncles, Tommy Mathis, Jesse Logan and Bernard Leroy; great-grandparents, Gladys Jackson, Haywood, Lelar Lanier and Naomi Blackshear.
Tero leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Janice Walton Bostic; sister, Tierra Frazier; brothers, Corey Bostic, Jermel Bostic; grandmother, Hazel (Kenneth) Burns; sister-in-law, Lenise Bostic; aunts, Bernice Wilson Young, Mary Haywood Butler, Annie Claude Knight, Annie B. Pressley, Florence Alexander, Louise Leroy; uncles, Deacon Johnny Alexander, Floyd (Ann) Bostic; godson, Cameron Pleas, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
The funeral service for Tero Lywon Bostic aka "Luther James" will be held 1:30 PM SATURDAY at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 N. Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be held 5 - 8:00 PM , Friday at the mortuary. Interment in Restlawn Cemetery . Please sign the family guest book and view the video tribute @ www.tswarden.com.
