A Time To Be Born: Tony, the youngest of three siblings, was born on March 19, 1957 to the late Mr. Eugene Boyd Harris and Ms. Ossie Lee Sneed in Jacksonville. Florida.

A Time To Plant: The roots of Tony’s life were nurtured by his mother and step-father, Mr. James Rackley. He was reared in the Christian faith and accepted Christ as his personal savior at King Solomon United Baptist Church under pastor, Rev. Dr. William Barker, Jr. Tony was educated in Duval County Public Schools, graduating from Englewood High. He furthered his education at Florida State University in the School of Criminology. Upon graduation, he pursued a career as a Revenue Officer of the Internal Revenue Service. He retired after 23 years of dedicated service.

A Time To Love And Laugh: Tony met his wife, Theresa Mobley at FSU and they were united in Holy Matrimony. They were blessed to have each other for over thirty-six years. Tony and Theresa enjoyed traveling, restaurants, and just the closeness of each other’s presence.

A Time To Cherish: Tony was a Grad-Chapter member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Union Steward (IRS) and a former President of the Association for the Improvement of Minorities in the IRS (AIM-IRS).

A Time To Die: Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Ernest Harris, Mr. and Mrs. James Rackley; and sister, Mrs. Evelyn Newton. Tony departed this life on Saturday, December 29th when God called him home with Theresa at his side. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7 KJV).

A Time Of Peace: Tony leaves his loving and devoted wife: Mrs. Theresa Harris; brother: Mr. Wallace Harris; sisters-in-law: Kimberly Wadley, and Michelle Draper (Georgia); brothers-in-law: Mr. Eric Wadley and Franklin Draper (South FL); uncles: Mr. Robert and Mr. Charles Sneed of Georgia; god-daughter: Ms. Tori Clayton; nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends: Mr. Willie and Belinda Clayton, Rev. Wendell and Judy Smith, Mr. Kelvin Singleton, Mr. Will Nix, and many more sorrowing friends.
