Obituary for Valerie Latrice Williams
Valerie LaTrice Williams was born on December 17, 1970 in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended the Local Schools of Duval County graduating from Forrest Senior High School, Class of 1988. Valerie continued her education attending Florida Community College of Jacksonville.
Valerie was called home to rest on Friday, October 28, 2016 after a long term illness. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kennesha McHellen.
Valerie leaves to cherish her memories a devoted family; sons, Alphonso Galloway Williams and Earnest Calvin Collier Jr.; stepson, Keith McHellen; daughter, Quanetta McHellen; grandchildren, Cam`Ron Williams, Zae`Marl Williams, and MaKayla Lane; parents, Kathryn Rose, Pamela Perry, Benjamin Rose, and Alphonso Burroughs; brothers, Shawn Burroughs, Alphonso Burroughs, Edmon Robert Galloway, Bobby Leroy Galloway, and Marcus Rose; sisters, Nina M. Wilson, Danyelle M. Charles (Roy), Shey Howard, Samaria Galloway, Tonya Rose, and Mariquita Rose; grandmother, Mamie Rose; aunts, Judy Lee, Sandrener Williams, Brenda Wright, Nicola Williams, Mamie Lou Hill, Barbara Ann Burroughs, Gloria Nicholson, Sharon Burroughs, Barbara Henry (Thomas), Ruth Hunter (Willie), Dannet Ealey (Russell), Linda Denson, Patricia Robinson, and LaWanda Rose; uncles, John Williams, Terry Porter, Carlos Handson, Zebulon Williams, James Harold Burroughs Jr., Henry Burroughs, Lenard Galloway, and David Rose; god sisters, Chenoa Caldwell and LaJoy Guyton; god brother, Rev. The funeral service for Valerie Latrice Williams will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street JACKSONVILLE, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm , Friday, November 11th, 2016 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
