Obituary for William Morgan Murphy Jr.
A celebration of life will be held for William (Billy) Morgan Murphy Jr, (60) of Jacksonville, Florida, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in the Samuel C. Rogers Memorial Chapel of Funerals by T.S. Warden, hosted by his loving family.
Billy was born on September 25, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida, son of the late William Morgan Murphy, Sr., and the former Sybil Muse. His homecoming was December 6, 2015. In addition to his wife, Charlotte Murphy; survivors include two brothers, Edward Griffin, and Danny Griffin (Beth); seven sisters, Linda Smith, Brenda Crews, Mary Ann Goodwyne, Glenda Vanourney (Bob), Belinda Lowe, Phyllis D'Alessandro (Jim); and numerous extended family members and friends.
Those serving as pallbearers include: Joseph Mobley Jr., Jim D'Alessandro, Billy Smith, Joshua Mobley, Danny Goodwyne and Jeffrey Lott. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in the Chapel of the funeral home, with the celebration service following at 11:00 AM. The interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida.
