At such times it is difficult to know what to say. But it is also the time when we need to hear comforting words the most, and know we are not alone. Although our hearts can either break or harden, and we may even feel like we are losing our minds, God understands & he promises to protect both our hearts & minds if we turn to him in prayer. "Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer & supplication...let your petitions be made known to God; & the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts & your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6, 7 If your heart does break, God "is near to those that are broken at heart; And those who are crushed in spirit he saves." - Psalm 34:18. So he knows how you have been feeling, & he wants you to know that he is right there with you, helping you to be strong. "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness." - Isaiah 41:10 May you face every morning with the strength, peace, & hope that he gives, and may family, friends, and your precious memories help you through. Remember prayer is us talking to him, reading the bible is him talking back, comforting, reassuring us & answering our questions. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. If I can help in any way please let me know.
