Her Generosity

I remember in 1999 when my immediate family and I came down from Detroit to Jacksonville for the graduation of my cousin. When we came down, Annette wouldn't hear of us staying at a hotel, and immediately put us up in her house. She was so generous with everything she had with all of us. It was me, my mom and dad, and my niece Amber. Annette had a really big heart and showed us so much love when we were in Jacksonville at her house, and she really reminded me of Bernice Hudson, who was my grandmother. I'm just grateful to know that such a strong, intelligent, beautiful and giving woman was part of my family. And I will do my best to carry on her legacy for as long as I can. I miss you Annette.
