The Mill and Black Families

We were raised at the mill on Pecan Park Road for a while. Our mothers worked together at Oceanway school. Our fathers worked at the saw mill and we all lived in a section they had for colored workers. This is where Barbara met Levern Calhoun.Barbara was always sweet to us the younger kids and helped us in sunday school. Virginia loved Barbara dearly and so do I. Love always Glory Jean
