Mrs. McClendon was such beautiful sweet lady. I remember when she song in the choir at St Matthews when I was a kid and also me and my big sister Chauncey would sometimes visit her house when we were kids with her daughter Sheri. My heart goes out to Sheri and Derek, my God be with you all during this most difficult time.. Love Cheryle Jones

I met Betty in Frankfurt Germany. Became life long friends. She made me Godmother to her son Derek. We had many laughs and fun together. RIP. Love you.

Ms. McClendon was always a joy to work with. No matter how she was feeling, she kept her face made up and a smile. How she addressed me was so funny. She would say, "Hey, hey, hey Allen- looka here...". One thing about her is she kept it real. It was a pleasure knowing her as my colleague. I thank her also for attending my wedding. Ms. McClendon, you are gone but not forgotten. May your soul be at peace forevermore.

Betty is my cousin and she always had a smile on her face. She was a faithful servant of God. This is a hard time for the family, but we all are reassured that we know where her spirit will live on. God has an angel resting in his arms.
