Condolence: My condolence goes out to the family of a truely great man that I came to meet in 1980 at John E.Ford. They say if you can somehow touch and change and save a person that your job on earth would be well done. I can proudly say that i'm that person and I'm sure there are so many more than I that he has saved in his time on this earth.Mr.Lawson knew how to reach anyone and was respected by everyone.I'm forever grateful for what he did for me and he will be greatly missed.

Condolence From: Oliver and Christine McNair
Condolence: Mr. Lawson brought a sense of strength yet calmness when he came to John E. Ford Career Center in the mid 70's. This helped a new teacher like me develop the skills needed to reach the students assigned to an alternative center. For this we are both grateful. It was a joy knowing and working with him.

God gave us a wonderful blessing, when He gave us Butch. I shall remember his kindness, his gentleness, his laugh and smile, and the love he had for his family.
