I'm so thankful to have grown up with her. She and I had a bond like no other. Im proud to look like her and carry the fire that made her both feared and respected by many. She was a fighter for her family and unapologetic about who she was or what she thought was right. She was made of that strong stuff that is apparent and alive in all of her children and grandchildren today. We are her legacy.
