Condolences

Condolence From: Kyle and Rhonda Buckholtz-Ross and kids
Condolence: To my family, sorry we could not be with you guys on this day, but we are praying with you and for you. Hold your heads up high and dry the tears from your eyes because our beloved Greg has gone home to be with the Father who he adored. We all know that Greg loved the Lord so in this time of bereavement we need to rejoice that he is in heaven pain free and no longer bound. Yes, we will truly miss his great spirit, his laughter, and certainly his jokes, but we all know that he was suffering and God set His soldier free. We will truly miss Greg, but we will hold him in our hearts forever. We miss and love each and every one of you and remember it is we, who are among the living that need to work on our relationship with Christ so we one day can be reunited with him and our other loved ones who are in Glory....

Sending much love to you guys all the way from Virginia Beach, Virginia...

Condolence: I met Officer Holmes many years ago when we worked for JSO. He had a great sense of humor and I appreciate him for helping me get through some tough times on 6West at the Pre-trial Detention Facility. To the family I say, he was God's property. We are all God's property and He can take us back anytime that He decides to do so. Smile, wipe away your tears and thank God for the years that you shared with him. May God bless and comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Condolence: To The Family of Greg Holmes:

My sincere heart felt condolesences are extended to you all during this most difficutl time. "To be absent from the flesh is to be in the presence of God". 2Corn 5:8--I know that my brother is rejoicing around the throne of God. I went to Englewood High School with Greg, and I witnessedd his metamorphisis into a vessel of God. He is at peace now, free from ALL pain & anguish. Family take great pride in knowing that he gave his life, to Christ, and exemplified the power of "The Holy Ghost", each time I saw him, and spoke to him. Losing a loved one is never an easy task, however God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above ALL we can think or even ask. Ephes 3:20 I'm grateful to call myself not only a friend of Greg's but his Sister in Christ. The very last time I had a conversation with Greg, he told me "It's time for everybody to get saved if you are!" But he also expressed how proud he was of me for giving my life to Christ. That's a memory that I will cherish for a life time. Tears are just a temporary expression, of the pain you currently feel, and it's OK to shed some tears, but the greatest joy is in knowing that the tears we all share for Brother Gregory Holmes are not tears of sorrow, but of joy, knowing that Christ has called another one of His home to eternal rest. May you rest in peace my brother, until we see each other again. May the power of God, encompass, & keep each of you. You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

Friend, former classmate, and Sister in Christ:

Condolence: To the family especially the younger generation: Let the life that Greg lived when he totally got converted, be a testimony for all that are going through some difficult situations. If you fully trust God, He will make a change and a difference in your life. I am so glad that he lived to tell all how Jesus saves! I love you "cuz" and when the roll is called, I'll see you there...

Condolence: To The Family Of Elder Gregory Holmes:
My prayers are with you at this time. I was saddened to hear of the home-going of Gregg, but that was the life he lived for th eternal rest that he has received. Gregg will truly be missed in our Spring Conference, Convocation's and all of our Meetings in Central Florida #1 Jurisdiction, because that;s the kind of person that he was, he Loved the Lord and He loved people. Weeping endures for a night but joy does come in the morning, and we will be living to meet him again. You have my prayers.

Condolence From: Steve Young
Condolence: Greg was a friend and a brother. We met at Englewood High School, he joined the FL National Guard and inspired my career in the Marines. Greg then inspired me to my current career in law enforcement.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Love
Steve
