Justin Jermaine Grant
Justin Jermaine Grant, Sr. was born on September 30, 1987 in Waycross, Georgia to Deborah Grant and William L. Atkinson, Justin attended Ribault & Nease High School & then went on to attend college in the States of Kansas, Arizona and California before returning to Florida. During Jays’ early years, he enjoyed laughing, being sarcastic, offering sharp whit and posed a very passionate ability to debating anyone over anything, Jay excelled in the sport of football and made the cover of various newspapers for the position of Cornerback and Defensive Player of the Year along with becoming an All Conference Award Winner in 2006.

Jay found a new passion with music as a lyrical rap artist and generated a local following. In his professional career Jay was employed by a fence & lawn company that kept him on his toes; this interaction pushed Jay to find his charitable side and lend a hand reaching back to help pull-up others in need.

Jay leaves to cherish his memories to be replayed with his father, William (Colett) Atkinson, US Army Retired, the family of the late Deborah (David “Sonny”) Grant-Maddox, Jay son, Justin Jermaine Grant, Jr. Jay had 3 brothers from Debra: Shawn “Wank” Redding (34), Marvin Maddox (20), Christian Maddox (16) and 1 brother, 2 sisters and a stepsister from William: Demontra Atkinson (34), Chelsey Atkinson (22), Ty’tiana Atkinson (16) & Milli Wormley (27); Jay has 1 set of Grandparents Rubeal (Garfyangia) Atkinson & Florence Riley still alive and well and 1 set that has preceded him in death John (Virginia) Grant; Jay has left behind a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Friends that will miss him dearly.
