Susie Smith and I always sat in the same vicinity at church so we got an opportunity to chat often. She always had a smile on her face and was always one who truly lit up my day. Our main topic of conversation was the children; the grandchildren and then the great grandchildren. Susie talked as much as I did so after our initial embrace and greeting, we talked and talked and talked. She always focused on the positives in her life and so my encounters with her will always be remembered with great love, warmth and affection. One author penned that you should warm the corner where you are. She warmed her corner so well until she radiated this warmth to all of us within her reach. I thank God for her wonderful life.
