Condolences

Condolence From: Cassandra Herring (Connie)
Condolence: My heart is sadden because I love her so much, she will always be a part of me. I could talk to her about anything and she always had this way of making the worst things seem OK. I'm going to miss our long talks about everything and nothing, trying to see who can talk more. I want to say to the family that God make no mistakes, I will continue to pray for your family that God give you peace and understanding. I will truly miss her and will never forget her. Connie

Condolence: To Troy Jones and your Whole Family, I would like to say "THANK YOU" for allowing my son Henry Germain Cobb to be a part of your family during his high school years. I did not meet your beloved Mom until many years later, but her exceptionally positive influence was left on my son in many ways. During his times of enormous frustration, pressure, and even sadness, you were always there for him and I am so grateful for your presence and friendship in his life throughout the years. Your Mom embraced Germain literally and figuratively in ways I could not. Only a Mom would appreciate the love and support provided to her child by another Mom. In my few conversations with her, we shared "war stories" about our boys. Ms. Thomasina was filled with love and pride in the accomplishments of every one of her children. I so admired her loving spirit, and her willingness to share her Motherhood with my son. May you always find refuge in the comforting arms of our Lord and the beautiful pictures of your Mom and your family in your Video Memory Book. I know God will ease your sorrow in the days and weeks ahead. Trust Him!

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with the Jones family doing this time of great lost. When I think about Mrs. Thomasina the 1st thing that comes to mind is Mrs. Thomasina didn’t play when it came to raising her kids and all that love, beatings, hard work and dedication paid off to produce 4 very successful adults. The 2nd things is her dress code, she stayed sharp & I mean red carpet dressing style sharpness. She would be dress nice and the only thing she would be doing was sitting on the porch. The 3rd things was her well groom house, even as a child I could remember her always keeping her house and yard looking nice. I can go on and on but the bottom line is Mrs. Thomasina was a great virtues women with great style. Her firm , friendly but private personality caught the attention of so many of us in the Grandpark area; therefore, a piece of us was taken away on May 3 and that piece will be forever missed. Her passing brings sadness to my heart because I will miss her passing by, waving and smiling but her love and fear for God brings me unspeakable joy because I know by the Christian life she lived, she’s now resting safe in Heaven forever protected by Gods arms.

Condolence: Sis. Thomasina's presence will TRULY BE MISSED @ the Grove!

She was always a lady of classiness and elegance and carried herself in that manner -- all the way to the end. We just saw you in church service this past Sunday, and now you're gone!

You left us wayyyy too soon, but we are @ peace knowing you are resting comfortably in the bosom of GOD!

Sleep on, our Sister, and take your rest -- we all loved you, but GOD loves you best ~

Signed,

Sis. Genese Staples
