Ms. Verleen (Mom) was the sweetest, most generous person I have ever known. Always smiling, Mom would greet every officer at the Jail in the Dining Room by their name and with a smile tell us how good the food was. "It's real good," she would reply to a question about the food. I never heard her complain or say a bad word about anyone or anything. In sickness and in health, she would come to work each day, trying her best to make everyone else's day brighter and better. I can't thank her enough for the years of love she provided to all of us at JSO. May God bless you and keep you in His holy arms.
